ELTEK Distribution introduces the Net2 range of control units from Paxton Access. The renowned British manufacturer presents a series of performance access control units that can be networked and IP controlled from PC, offering users and installers ingenious solutions for a wide range of needs and situations.

An access control system based on an active connexion has the following advantages:

• It can be controlled and centralised
• It can issue various reports
• Allows real time management of users access

Each control unit can run both networked or independently, making its own decisions and remembering events.

The Net2 series includes three types of control units: Net2Plus, Net2Classic and Net2Nano. Their characteristics are listed below:

	Net2 Classic Single door access control unit RS485 Port for a wired daisy chain of other Net2 Classic or Net2 Plus control units or for connecting a converter that would make contact with a PC Diagnostic LEDs FLASH memory for easy upgrade Compatible with any type of 5V or 12V Reader
	Net2 Nano Wireless controller Uses Paxton proprietary and secure wireless technology Wireless communication with the Net2Air USB Bridge receiver connected to the PC via USB Remembers 60 events occurred during power failure Diagnostic LEDs Ideal for barriers, turnstiles, isolated doors or inside buildings where no changes to the construction are possible

The three types of control units can be networked in various versions that ensure maximum flexibility for the installer. Three of these interconnection versions are explained below:

The control units can be delivered in plastic or metal housing, with rechargeable batteries. The management software is included. It contains a Time and Attendance module with SQL database.
