Orion Plasma Displays - State-of-the-Art Video Wall Technology
ELTEK Distribution presents an innovative solution for building video walls from Orion: the MPDP (Multi Plasma Display Panels). This embeds breakthrough technologies, developed by the Korean manufacturer, that allow infinite panel configurations able to reproduce crisp multi-input images.
A series of technical characteristics of the Orion plasma displays are listed below:
-
DZF (Dead Zone Free) Technology - only 4mm Seam size, ensuring seamless image continuity
-
MSCS (Multi Screen Control System) Technology - allows simultaneous display of various images from various inputs on the same video wall
-
BIC (Burn-In Compensation) Technology - prevents burn-in problems caused by static images displayed for longer periods or by high contrast still images. Orion MPDP is the first to use this new technology, which extends the display lifetime and significantly improves its image quality.

On any kind of PDP the initial high luminance decreases fastest in the first period of the usage of the panel due to the characteristics of the phosphor. The new ORION M-PDP can keep the initial luminance continuously on the same
user-chosen level and thus extend the product lifetime.
