Inorganic Panels for Sanyo Projectors - Better Contrast Ratio and Longer Service Life

wwww.sanyo.de

Sanyo, the prestigious Japanese manufacturer, global leader in the electronic equipment industry and partner of ELTEK Distribution presents inorganic panels, a successful innovation, inside its projectors.

These represent a new technology allowing Sanyo projectors to deliver high quality image rendition, brighter colours, higher contrast ratio and wich extends the product service life.

Inorganic panels feature a series of capabilities that provide major advantages:

  • They are resistant and robust against the UV radiation of the projector lamp, which means extended service life
  • All LCD panels are back-lit by a single light source. Like controllable valves, they influence how much light an LCD cell receives. The liquid crystals of each individual cell are controlled and positioned to either block or let in a particular amount of light per pixel via electronic fields. Inorganic panels offer the advantage that the liquid crystals take up a perfectly defined alignment, even without electric voltage. If there is no power, the light is even more effectively and more evenly blocked in this way and the respective pixels then appear even darker. For instance, the PLC‑XF1000 projector model reaches a 4000:1 contrast ratio.
  •  The pixel electronics in these LCD panels have a smaller design, leading to increased usable pixel area. The light flow per pixel thus increases, determining greater projector brightness.

The Sanyo projectors utilize 3 (with the 3LCD technology) or 4 (with QuaDrive technology) LCD panels for image rendition. The following Sanyo projectors currently use the LCD inorganic panels: PLV‑Z4000, PLC‑XU106, PLC‑XU116, PLC‑WTC500AL, PLC‑XM100L, PLC‑XM150L, PLC‑WM5500LPLC‑XP100L, PLC‑XP200L, PLC‑XF1000, PLV‑WF20 and PLC‑XF47.

Sanyo is global leader in the professional projectors segment. The company develops a unique technology for image rendition and delivers exceptional equipment: projectors for meetings, mobile presentations, conferences and seminaries, showrooms and fairs, courses and home theatre.
