Paxton Net2 GSM Caller ID - Access control using a mobile phone

Paxton, ELTEK Distribution's partner for access control systems, announces the new GSM Net2 Caller ID - a new generation reader that can allow access with a mobile phone call.

The terminal also allows the attachment of a normal proximity reader that can be used if the user doesn't have the cell phone with him or it is discharged.

Among the possibilities to use the new reader we can enumerate:

• Token free, long range access to gates/barriers
• Remote clocking in/out to Timesheet

The phone numbers of users are introduced into the Net2 system, being registered as new access devices. The reader will be equipped with a SIM card and will have his own phone number. When a registered user is calling this number he can access the area.

The new equipment will be available from March.
